This brooch was a side effect of
ending yarn. I do not like to throw away things so when the yarn was almost
gone I crocheted a circle from the remaining piece. Then I started to add new
elements: wooden circle (covered with felt), beads and mouline in this case.
The result was folk looking brooch you see on the pictures above. So far it is
a unique brooch but maybe I will continue to work on brooches like this one.
I know that spring weather is already here but I still have two winter hats to
show you. I promise there will be no more hats until the next snow ;). The
first one was made for my friend. Actually both were made for him but he chose
the perfect one in the end.
By the way you probably did notice already that a lot changed on my blog recently. It's more or less done. I want to change some small things but you will probably not notice it. I hope you like how felt & ribbon changed, also for you :).
It was very productive day, even it started in hospital (do not worry - it was only planned visit;)). After coming back home I enjoyed (really!) working on my master thesis. It looks better and better. I finished today's part so I can show you one of the new hats. It warms the head of my boyfriend ;).
Today I will show you some brooches. I crocheted them last weekend. They are nice and colorful. Very easy to make. I wanted to add something more to them (e.g. sew some beads) but it looked not so good so I kept them simple.

Dziś mam Wam do pokazania szydełkowe broszki kokardy. Zrobiłam je w ostatni weekend. Są fajne (mam nadzieję!) i kolorowe. Chciałam doszyć im jakieś koraliki, ale każda próba kończła się brakiem mojej akceptacji (czyt. kiczowato podobnie). Dlatego też zostawiłam broszki takie proste.
